Are you thinking of enrolling in the Clinical Herbal Therapy or Herbal Consulting Diploma Program this September? Now is the time to make certain you have all your admission requirements. Please contact me if you are missing the required biology and/or chemistry. Dominion Herbal College has 6-month distance learning biology and chemistry courses available that have been specifically designed for students registering in these programs.

Field Experience

Hands-on Experience FIELD EXPERIENCE - 35 Hours. Field Experience requires completion of the DHC Chartered Herbalist Diploma Program. Students will gain 35 hours of field experience over a 5-day period. Instructor Netta Zeberoff, CH, MH, RHT will introduce herbs and seeds for a garden and take students on hikes through the beautiful Kootenay valley of British Columbia, Canada with its pristine forests, marshes, rivers, lakes and creeks.

Students will actively participate in wildcrafting, herb identification, gardening herbs, permaculture, foraging, preserving and cooking. Students will spend time learning herbal medicine making; preparing the dispensary, bottles and labels; making herbal preparations, tinctures, salves and capsules. Students will learn ecologically sustainable and practical ways of gathering and making herbal medicine. Dominion Herbal College will issue a certificate upon completion.
