Diploma Program (80 classroom hours - 16 clinic hours) Saturdays only.
This program is for graduates of the Clinical Herbal Therapist Diploma Program
and the Clinical Phytotherapy Diploma Course, or other health care
professionals with clinical experience such as Physicians, Naturopaths,
Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Registered Nurses and Massage Therapists.
This course in Clinical Aromatherapy was developed by Armand Ayaltin in 1987
in Vancouver, B.C. for in-class instruction of Aromatherapeutic Practice.
The course has been designed with the serious student in mind. It is within
the context that herbalism was practiced by Herbalists up to the turn of the
century, that the use and practice of "Clinical Aromatherapy" is taught at this
college. The program prepares the student for the practice of Herbal
Aromatherapy in almost all of its applications. The diploma entitles the
recipient to apply for membership in the Canadian Herbalists Association
of British Columbia.
